Your biggest enemy is invisible
From the very start of our lives, we have only one true enemy. This enemy is incredibly dangerous because it knows absolutely everything about us. It knows your deepest secrets and your biggest weaknesses—simply because you are the one who tells it everything.
Most people will say that this entity is your friend—that you can just use it as a tool to get whatever you want. But that is not true. We do not control it; it controls us. It knows exactly what is good for us and what is bad for us, but it only presents us with what it wants us to see.
This enemy is your mind. (And before we move forward, you must understand one crucial thing: your brain and your mind are completely different things).
We often think our mind is helpful, believing it provides us with new ideas, thinking power, and the ability to visualize. But reality is very different. One lesson you must remember in life is that everything has a dark side.
Let me share an incident from my own life so you can understand this better. In my teenage years, everyone told me that to be successful, you need to set a goal and work hard for it. So, I did exactly that. I set a goal and worked hard. But eventually, my mind made me think I was doing something wrong, so I just stopped. About 15 days later, I realized I hadn't been consistent because I wasn't seeing any immediate results, so I started working hard again. Then, I convinced myself that my goal itself was wrong, so I changed it to focus on building my physique. Shortly after, I started worrying about money, so I shifted my goal again to focus on earning. Every time I failed, I blamed it on my own lack of consistency or not having the right facilities. I believed that was why I was unsuccessful.
But then I started observing other people. Many were in completely different situations than me, yet I could see they were also unsuccessful. Some had a lot of money, but they were still completely unsatisfied. Some had great physical fitness, but they still lacked confidence. They were all "unsuccessful" in life for completely different reasons.
That is when I noticed the pattern: nobody actually understands why they are unsuccessful. This is the real reason why 95% of people in the world fail instead of succeeding.
Everyone tries to achieve their goals in different ways, but they are all fighting the exact same enemy. And this enemy does not want you to achieve greatness—it only wants fun and instant enjoyment. Some people fool themselves into thinking they control their own desires and wants, but it simply isn't true.
To achieve success, people think they just need to improve their habits or force themselves to be consistent. But they all make the exact same mistake: they try to control their mind indirectly. They believe that if they force good habits, those habits will eventually train the mind. It doesn't work. This method only provides temporary benefits. Eventually, you will fall right back to exactly where you started—because your mind already knows exactly how to control you.
Therefore, stop trying to control your mind indirectly. You need to take control of it directly.
To master your mind, you must do two things:
1) Body Control: Your mind's greatest weapon is its control over your body. Whatever the mind wants, it puts right in front of your eyes so you will buy it. If it wants to go somewhere, it controls your legs. It dictates every part of you—your eyes, ears, nose, legs, and tongue. It presents distractions right in front of you so that you lose control of your physical actions. You must stop this first. You have to take back control of your own body.
Train your eyes to only look at what you want to see. When faced with things you shouldn't look at, actively avoid them and firmly say "NO" in your mind. Over time, you will automatically regain control of your eyes and your physical actions. You must try again and again to master your physical self. This is incredibly important: once you can fully control your body, achieving your goals becomes easy, because your external goals are actually much easier to achieve than mastering your own body.
2) The Power of "Nothing": Once you gain control over your body, your mind will launch its biggest counter-attack: wants. It will start whispering, "I want sex," "I want money," "I want a new iPhone," or "I want to scroll through reels." It floods your brain with these desires, tricking you into thinking that you actually want them. But it is a lie. Your mind just wants to take back control of your body so it can go back to having fun and seeking instant enjoyment.
To stop this, you must do one thing: disconnect your bodily urges from these mental wants. Shift your focus entirely toward doing the actual work required to achieve your goals. You must embrace the mindset that none of these cheap distractions are meant for you—accept the power of "nothing" when it comes to useless desires.
The Reality of Distractions: The reality of the world is that there are countless traps designed to help your mind distract you from your goals. It is a very simple concept: whenever something looks interesting, our mind naturally drifts toward it. In today's world, everything is packaged as something "new" and "exciting," causing our minds to get distracted again and again.

The biggest example of this is social media. It presents itself as a positive tool meant to connect people, but that is not true. In reality, 97% of people use social media simply to distract their minds from their real goals. They use it to numb the pain of being unsuccessful and to run away from their failures.
So, make this one simple truth crystal clear in your head: if you really want to achieve your goals, you must take absolute control of your mind.
YOU STILL HAVE A CHOICE.
