How to achieve your success <Target>.
The Great Divide: The 5% vs. The 95%
Everyone wants to be successful, yet only 5% of people in the world actually get what they want. What creates this massive gap? It comes down to one single difference: The 95% never figure out what they truly want in life.
The Puppet System and the Rat Race
Because they don't know what they want, the 95% blindly follow a system created by society and powerful people. They become like puppets dancing on strings. They are stuck in a "rat race," constantly running after the next piece of cheese in a never-ending loop.
The script they follow looks exactly like this:
- You study hard just to get a job.
- Once you get the job, you chase a promotion.
- You work to buy a car, and then a big house.
- You aim for a comfortable retirement.
- And then, your life is over.
People complete this cycle and trick themselves into thinking they achieved what they wanted.
Survival is Not Success
But if you are smart, you look at this and realize: This is not a real-life goal. What is the meaning of simply repeating this cycle?
When you step back and look at the world, living this way makes us no different from animals. Did we come into this world just to survive? You are born, you spend your youth working for your parents' expectations, you spend your adulthood working for your boss, you spend your later years working for your children, and then you die.
The Legacy Trap
If you just follow this peaceful, scripted path and do nothing differently, how will anyone remember your name? The harsh reality is that the next generation will look at a picture of you once, and then you will be forgotten forever.
So, you have to ask yourself: What is the meaning of all this? Why work so hard just to maintain the illusion of happiness and success, when in reality, you are still just trapped in the rat race?
Breaking the Trap: The Reality of Achieving Goals
To escape the rat race, you must do one thing: set your ultimate life goal. But here is the harsh truth—setting the goal is the easy part. Achieving it is where the 95% fail.
If you want to be in the 5% who succeed, here is the blueprint:
1. The Foundation: There Are No Shortcuts. First, you must deeply understand that achieving your goal requires intense hard work. There are absolutely no shortcuts to true success. However, hard work alone will not save you if your focus is in the wrong place.
2. The Method: Look at the Step, Not the Mountain. Do not overwhelm yourself by staring at the massive peak of the mountain you have to climb. Focus only on where to place your foot for the very next step.
So focus on your next step, not on the mountain
3. The Target Trap: Why Hardworking People Fail To climb the Mountain. You must break your ultimate goal down into smaller targets. But setting the right small targets is the most critical part of the journey. If your targets are wrong, your hard work is meaningless.
Consider the example of a friend who wanted to build a highly successful channel. He decided his first target was to automate everything. He worked incredibly hard and built a flawless system that handled everything from posting to ending on autopilot. He thought his work was done. Yet, after four months, he only had 50 members.
Why did he fail? Because he confused his target. His goal was audience growth, but his target was system automation. He executed the hard work perfectly, but because his starting target was wrong, the members never came. If your goal is the mountaintop, but your first step is in the wrong direction, your hard work will only bring you failure and mental exhaustion.
4. The Topper’s Secret: Set Logical Targets. To avoid failure, your targets must be direct and logical. Look at the paths that are already built.
Imagine a student whose goal is to be the top ranker in class. He sets his target: Study all night, make endless notes, and practice non-stop. He does all of this, but after the exam, a classmate beats him by two marks. Depressed, he asks the topper what secret extra studying he did.
The topper simply replies, "I didn't study all night. I just knew that to be the topper, my only target was to score higher marks."
The hardworking student's target was "being busy and studying hard." The topper's target was strictly "getting results." You must set targets that directly solve the problem.
5. The Final Lesson: Never Regret Hard Work. Does this story mean that studying hard or putting in heavy effort is a waste of time? Absolutely not.
Even if your target was slightly off, your hard work is never useless. When you work hard at anything, you are not just chasing a temporary win—you are building perfection, discipline, and skills. Never regret the effort you put in; it is upgrading you for the rest of your life.
